We are proud to instruct Krav Maga as is presently taught and evolving in Israel today. Israeli Krav Maga is an affliate of the Israeli Krav Maga Association (IKMA). The IKMA is recognized by the Israeli government as the authority for Krav Maga. Our instructors are certified by the IKMA and continually update their knowledge through regular attendance of IKMA classes and seminars .Krav Maga ("contact combat") is the official self-defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces, Israeli National Police, and security services. Krav Maga is a superior, world-renowned self-defense and combat fitness training method to achieve top physical shape while learning real self-defense and fighting techniques.We integrate full body conditioning into all of our classes. We pride ourselves on teaching leading edge techniques for self defense as well as taking all our clients through best of breed training principles for overall body health. Established in 2010. We have always been focused on delivering authentic Krav Maga training as is taught in Israel today. While one of the truly elegant aspects of Krav Maga is the ability to be effective in combat regardless of age, strength or flexibility, we introduce a series of conditioning drills and programs which help ensure optimal performance during the most strenuous and stressful conditions. We are trained in a Core Strength and Flexibility Training methodology designed by Bill Thompson. The effectiveness of this method is based on working the total body through movement patterns and poses that are a fusion of deep dancer stretches, Yoga and Pilates. Once you complete the one hour class, your body will have been stretched top to bottom and your abdominal and gluteal regions will be worked to exhaustion.
