Hikari Dojo - Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu

We are an Authorized Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu Kiyamakai Study Group under Roy Goldberg Shihan. Classes are led by Charlie Siegel, a direct student of Roy Goldberg Shihan. Weekly classes are held on some Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30pm and some Friday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30pm, plus we have other special events and classes. Seminars with Manny Jimenez Sensei or Roy Goldberg Shihan are held throughout the year on Sundays. New students are accepted at any time. Open to anyone, teens and adults, whether a beginner or an experienced martial artist. Classes are inclusive of all abilities and skill levels. Please contact us to reserve your spot!~ Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu is a 1,200-year-old samurai martial art and National Treasure of Japan. Its core principles focus on subtle manipulations of balance that can complement and enrich any martial arts training. Daito Ryu is not just a set of techniques, but a mindset that can transform budo practice. It has directly influenced the development of many popular martial arts, such as Shorinji Kempo, Hakko Ryu Jujutsu, Hapkido and most famously Aikido, whose founder Morihei Ueshiba trained extensively in Daito Ryu. ~ Classes are $15 each. Established in 2017. We train in Japan's National Treasure, the traditional Samurai martial art of Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu under the instruction of Roy Goldberg Shihan. Charlie has been training privately with Roy Goldberg Shihan and traveling with him to his events for years and leads fun and educational classes on the Kyu Rank Waza (techniques) and principles of Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Kiyamakai, open to new students at any time.
