Candlewood Fencing Center

Candlewood Fencing Center has been teaching athletes the Olympic Sport of Fencing since 1987. We take students from the ground up and teach them to be champions on and off the strip. Fencing is one of the top scholarship sports, especially for women, in the NCAA with many of the top colleges such as Stanford, Yale, Harvard, UPenn, Cornell, Princeton and many more have teams who regularly recruit Candlewood Fencers. Our Coaching Staff has been trained by Olympic and World Team Coaches from multiple countries and bring the best of modern fencing training to Connecticut in a fun, safe and educational environment. Established in 1987. Since 1987 Candlewood Fencing has been a pioneer in the sport as one of the first successful non-metropoltian based club in the nation.
